In our city of Coyhaique,
Mate tea is the image of sharing
happiness and friendship with people.
We take a sip and pass it hand by hand.
At home,
all women have ‘mate’,
and talk around a pot of
this tasty drink.
Every house you go,
here in Coyhaique,
you’ll be offered a cup of
this nice ‘mate’.
So, you won’t say no,
when offered ‘mate’.
You’ll say ‘yes’,
and feel
the lovely taste of ‘mate’.

La alegria y la amistad

Mate va de mano
en mano en la fundacion
mi casa todas las
tias toman mate
ellas conversan
tomando el rico
mate.

a cualquier casa
q’ uno vaya le
ofrecen el rico mate
por eso nunca diga q’ no
cuando le ofrescan diga
siempre q’ si y sienta esa
gran sabor del mate.
